Matthew Condon

Matthew Condon was born in Brisbane in 1962. He has written several works of fiction including The Motorcycle Café (UQP 1988), Usher (UQP 1991) and The Ancient Guild of Tycoons (UQP 1994). All were shortlisted for major national awards. His collections of short fiction – A Night at the Pink Poodle (Random 1995) and The Lulu Magnet (Random 1996) – both won the Steele Rudd Award. His latest novel is The Pillow Fight. He currently lives in Sydney.
